ENTERTAINMEMT - 2baba has sued his one-time friend and ‘brother’ Blackface - Annie Idibia’s husband took him to court because he claimed to have written some songs for him - The popular singer wants Blackface to pay him N50m The battle between 2baba Idibia and Blackface has taken a new turn has the former has taken the latter to court asking him to pay N50 million in damages. 2baba and his manager Efe Omoregbe sued Blackface who has constantly claimed that he wrote African Queen, 2baba’s biggest hit song and Let Somebody Love You. Blackface made this known via his Instagram page. Sharing a photo of the court documents he received, he added that his legal team will be responding in a few days. 2baba and Blackface used to be members of now defunct boy group Plantashun Boys alongside Faze. It is unclear as to when they both fell out. Since then, they have been involved in a war of words online with Blackface being the aggressor most times. Many have wondered why the third member of their group Faze hasn’t come in to settle their differences but he said he has tried many times to no avail. “I actually tried to make peace between 2face and Blackface. I called them on several occasions and asked them to settle the issue amicably. However, they have some unresolved issues between them and I think they would settle their differences in due time. Even brothers have rifts; so, there is nothing unusual about it. 2face and Blackface are from the same area and they were even together before I came into the picture. They know how to relate with each other and would come around,” he said.
